Webinar Description

This virtual professional learning session will support educators with implementing flexible small group instruction in kindergarten- third grade mathematics classrooms.
The training covers the following topics:
-Types of problem situations (i.e. add to, take from, put together and take apart) appropriate for grades K-3 students.
-Ways to enable children to make sense of problems through the use of concrete materials, realia, drawings, or acting out.
-Ways to help students to solve math word problems through scaffolded experiences.
