Webinar Description

This workshop is intended for new and experienced Charter and Renaissance Schools Bilingual/ESL/ELS Supervisors and Coordinators that oversee district language instruction educational programs (LIEPs) and staff that work to provide equitable services and supports to English language learners and their families

This workshop's objective include:
1) Learn the state programmatic requirements for providing ELLs with appropriate and equitable education to ensure K-12 promotion and graduation;
2) Learn the federal requirements under Title III and Immigrant funding, programmatic, and accountability requirements;
3) Learn the Civil Rights of ELLs and their families;
4) Understand the certification, training, and PD requirements for all educators of ELLs;
5) Understand how to implement the ELD WIDA standards for content and language objectives;
6) Understand instructional strategies such as FABRIC.
