Michael Heinz, Science Coordinator and Dr. Jennifer Self will discuss four principles for adapting K-12 science instruction as a result of the COVID-19 public health emergency. The target audience for this session is school and district leaders as well as science teachers. Dr. Self, Senior Research Associate, WestEd and the author of Teaching K-12 Science and Engineering During a Crisis (2020) will share specific guidance that attendees will be able to apply to their classroom practice.
