Instructional Supports to Accelerate Learning in Science

Webinar Description Michael Heinz, Science Coordinator will discuss the characteristics of high-quality science resources. Sarah Delaney and Matt Krehbeil from OpenSciEd will discuss how districts can leverage these free resources to help students develop their ability to solve problems, ask and answer questions, and argue from evidence in remote, hybrid, and in-person learning environments. OpenSciEd resources are aligned to the NJSLS-Science, have been piloted by NJ teachers and are customizable. Target audience is school and district leaders responsible for science education and middle school science teachers.
