Workshop Description

Registration for public testimony will be open for two weeks starting at 9 am on Thursday, March 14, 2024, and will close at noon on Thursday, March 28, 2024.

Anyone who would like to attend or speak during a public testimony session may reserve time by registering online or calling the State Board office at 609-376-9071 during the registration time period. Please note that space and time are limited. Members of the public will not be able to register to speak after the formal registration process closes. No exceptions will be made.

Individuals who are unable to be present at a public testimony session may submit written comments on the topic to be considered by the State Board of Education. Written comments may be emailed to stateboardoffice@doe.nj.gov or mailed to the following address:

The topics scheduled for the April 3, 2024, public testimony session are:

The draft Religious Holiday Calendar Resolution for 2024-2025 and the proposed readoption with amendments to Chapter 22, Student Residency.

Speakers have five minutes to speak and must bring six copies of their testimony with them.
