Workshop Description

The New Jersey Department of Education Office of School Preparedness and Emergency Planning, in partnership with the New Jersey State Police Bomb Unit, invites educational leaders, school security personnel, and local law enforcement to attend this session. Det. Sgt. First Class James Varick, Bomb Squad Commander, will discuss response protocols and best practices which should be utilized when responding to a school bomb threat.
