RST South 22-23 Annual School Plan: NEW Root Cause Analysis

Work session for developing the NEW Root Cause Analysis section of the 22-23 ASP

Date(s) & Time(s) May 12, 2022   ~  10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Workshop Description This event is designed to provide more information about the NEW Root Cause Analysis section in the 2022-23 Annual School Plan (ASP). We will walk schools through the new process of selecting evidence-based strategies in response to their priority performance needs. By the end of the session, Comprehensive and Targeted schools in the southern region will have created a high-quality, ready-for-approval Root Cause Analysis section of the ASP.

While this event is the second event in our 22-23 ASP Support Series, participants may attend even if they did not attend the first session. However, schools are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to complete the Data Analysis and Growth and Reflection Tool sections prior to attending this workshop.

Due to space restrictions, registration is limited to teams of three (3) attendees per school. This workshop is recommended for principals, assistant principals, instructional coaches, lead educators, teacher leaders, or other school staff who participate in ASP development. Follow-up support at individual schools can be provided by the RST.

NOTE: This session will rely heavily on participants' reflection on their own data and practice. Teams should plan to bring their laptops and their own timely and relevant data to reflect upon during our time together.

This session is only for schools that are designated Comprehensive or Targeted in the southern region.
