NJDOE Third Annual Early Learning Virtual Conference (Guided Math Session) (12:00 PM)

Charting Your Road Map to High-Quality Early Childhood Education

Date(s) & Time(s) March 24, 2021   ~  12:00 pm - 12:45 pm
Workshop Description Charting Your Road Map to High-Quality Early Childhood Education

School districts and educators participate in a series of professional development sessions designed to equip educational leaders in preschool programs with tools to provide equitable access to high-quality preschool learning environments that expose children to experiences and interactions that will keep them engaged in learning.

In Guided Math groups, students engage in standards-based, rigorous, learning opportunities where the teacher focuses on a particular concept, strategy or skill. Long Branch Public School teachers facilitate this learning through hands-on, scaffolded conversations and intensive questioning.

Guided math provides a structure for teachers to differentiate instruction so they can reach and teach every student.
Learn more about what guided math is and how it can be implemented in your early learning math classroom.

Link to go live will be sent to registrants prior to the start of the conference.
