Workshop Description

This technical assistance (TA) session will help districts create a strategic plan, to establish a bilingual program consistent with N.J.A.C. 6A:15.
The mandatory TA will be held on November 20, 2019. The following district staff members must attend: superintendent or assistant who is responsible of curriculum and instruction, bilingual/ESL supervisor, ESSA or Title I coordinator, personnel director, individual who supervises the bilingual/ESL supervisor, and business administrator.
Following the technical assistance session, there will be follow-up check-in calls with DOE staff and district staff to determine the progress of implementing a bilingual program.
