Workshop Description

The Bergen County Office of Education, in partnership with the Bergen County Association of School Administrators, Bergen Community College, and West Bergen Mental Healthcare will be offering the 2nd Annual Mental Health Symposium for Educators. With a focus on practical, hands-on strategies for classroom teachers, topics will include school refusal, anxiety, depression and how to establish a positive classroom culture.

*Given the distinct differences between the needs of elementary and secondary students, this symposium will feature two tracks of learning: one suited for educators serving in K-5 settings and one suited for educators serving in 6-12 settings.
