Workshop Description

***Only previously selected districts are eligible to participate in this training.***

Session 5 will focus on the Language and Literacy section of the ECERS-3 assessment tool. We will examine best practices for increasing language and literacy skills including oral language, phonological awareness, print concepts, and alphabet knowledge. Designing the book center and encouraging children's use of books will also be addressed.

There will be a 30 minute lunch break.
