OSE has the responsibility for collecting data on 17 Indicators related to the provision of FAPE for our students with disabilities in New Jersey. This information is reported annually in our State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report and Indicator 7 is one of the 18 Indicators.

Indicator 7 measures the growth of preschool students while in their preschool special education programs as it relates to the following three outcomes:

1. Children have positive social-emotional skills (including social relationships).

2.Children acquire and use knowledge and skills (including early language, communication, and literacy).

3. Children use appropriate behaviors to meet their needs.

LEAs will utilize the Child Outcomes Summary Form and Process to collect this information and report it through the Indicator 7 Data Application through Homeroom.
Webinar LinkParticipants will receive the URL to join the training 48 hours in advance.
