Building Career Navigation Skills Using NJCAN 360

Workshop Description This workshop will provide an overview of the New Jersey Career Assistance Navigator (NJCAN) 360 platform, an intuitive career exploration tool designed to support career planning in the middle grades and high school.

NJCAN 360 supports New Jersey Student Learning Standards - Career Readiness, Life Literacies, and Key Skills, 9.2 Career Awareness, Exploration, Preparation, and Training. Staff and students can use NJCAN 360 to conduct career self-assessments, research colleges and postsecondary schools, search for scholarships and opportunities, and engage in other career exploration and planning activities. The website also contains an extensive career database and the latest national, state and local labor market data and projections. There is no cost for schools to use NJCAN 360.

Audience: In addition to school district staff, this workshop is open to parents and other community members.

Parking information: Please note that metered parking is available on the street in front of the library and at the end of the street close to Springfield Avenue there are two metered parking lots.
