Webinar Description Through our work we know that Instructional materials make a difference for kids. What is chosen matters. This instructional core is the foundation for ensuring all kids are college and career-ready and have the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in school and beyond. This Learning Lounge series on the use of the EQuIP Rubric for Science will enable educators to become critical consumers of instructional materials.

The purposes of the rubric and review process are to: (1) review existing lessons and units to determine what revisions are needed; (2) provide constructive criterion-based feedback and suggestions for improvement; (3) identify exemplars/models for teachers? use within and across New Jersey; and (4) to inform the development of new lessons and units.
