Webinar Description

The arts provide a natural way to use universal design for learning for students to learn concepts and demonstrate knowledge. Engaging multilingual learners in arts education and arts integration empowers students to demonstrate their knowledge, improve communication skills, increase attendance rates, and build community. This session will present arts instructional practices to support multilingual learners. Programs from two New Jersey school districts will be highlighted to demonstrate the positive impact of arts integration strategies on multilingual learners.
