Webinar Description

In this Learning Lounge session, administrators will learn about the unique literacy skills necessary for students to engage with artistic processes in visual and performing arts. They will be able to identify parallels and differences between the skills taught in foundational literacy and ELA instruction and the skills necessary for students to read, write, think and communicate in the arts. This session is tailored to the needs of K-12 supervisors, curriculum developers, literacy specialists and school leaders who are interested in including arts in district literacy initiatives.
