Webinar Description

This professional development workshop equips social studies teachers with concrete strategies for facilitating constructive classroom dialogues around challenging topics while fostering an environment where diverse viewpoints can be explored safely and respectfully. Through hands-on practice with discussion protocols, classroom management techniques, and content-specific examples, participants will develop the skills to guide students in examining multiple perspectives, engaging in evidence-based reasoning, and participating in productive civil discourse across grades 5-12.
