2024-2025 Regional Preschool Administrator Meeting: Middlesex and Monmouth Counties

Structured Observation Tools, Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC) and 2025-2026 Budget Reminders

Date(s) & Time(s) January 27, 2025   ~  10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Workshop Description The New Jersey Department of Education, Office of Preschool Education will again offer Regional Preschool Administrator meetings in the 2024-2025 school year for preschool administrators in Preschool Education Aid (PEA) funded school districts. As a reminder, meetings in the 2024-2025 school year will take place in county/meeting cohorts. Preschool administrators in PEA funded districts are expected to attend all sessions within the school year.

Due to the number of districts and room capacity, we will limit each district to no more than one (1) representative in attendance.

These meetings are intended to support curriculum supervisors, district administrators, and/or principals supervising preschool classrooms in the communication of practices that help to develop and sustain high quality preschool programs. Participants must be serving the district in a PEA administrative role.

During this meeting, Office of Preschool Education (OPE) staff will present information on the topic of structured observation tools and the Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC). In addition, OPE staff will provide PEA budget workbook reminders to reference as districts complete their 2025-2026 budget workbook submissions.

Meetings will be held in-person only.

Each participant must register to attend the meeting intended for their county only.

This is the second of three meeting sessions for the 2024-2025 school year.
