State Board of Education Public Testimony - November 6, 2024

Workshop Description Due to a change in the State Board of Education's public testimony procedures, public testimony sessions will begin 30 minutes after the close of the public business meeting. This calendar listing includes a set start and end time due to software limitations.

Registration for public testimony will be open for two weeks starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024, and will close at noon on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

Anyone who would like to attend or speak during a public testimony session may reserve time by registering online or calling the State Board office at 609-376-9071 during the registration time period. Please note that space and time are limited. Members of the public will not be able to register to speak after the formal registration process closes. No exceptions will be made.

Individuals who are unable to be present at a public testimony session may submit written testimony on the topic to be considered by the State Board of Education. Written testimony may be emailed to stateboardoffice@doe.nj.gov or mailed to the following address:

The topic scheduled for the November 6, 2024, public testimony session is:

- N.J.A.C. 6A:30, Evaluation of the Performance of School Districts, readoption with amendments (proposal level).

Speakers have five minutes to speak and are asked to bring four copies of their testimony with them.
