Webinar Description

The "More Than Just A Month" series empowers educators to create a more inclusive and accurate representation of history, moving beyond designated heritage months to weave diverse narratives and perspectives throughout the K-12 social studies curriculum. Participants will learn to identify instructional gaps, incorporate underrepresented voices and utilize primary sources from a wide range of perspectives in order to foster critical thinking about historical events and their modern implications.
