Description: The "Understanding the Participation Criteria for the Alternate Assessment" training is an educational session aimed at providing child study team members, district assessment coordinators, educators, special education professionals, and school administrators with a comprehensive understanding of the criteria and guidelines surrounding the participation of students in alternate assessments. The alternate assessment is designed to ensure that students with significant intellectual disabilities have access to fair and meaningful evaluations of their knowledge and skills.
