RST South 23-24 Annual School Plan Kick-off: Data Analysis & Root Cause Analysis

ASP Planning

Date(s) & Time(s) April 6, 2023   ~  10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Workshop Description This event is designed to provide more information about the 2023-24 ASP development process, and to provide in-person support as Comprehensive and Targeted schools in the southern region complete a high-quality, ready-for-approval Data Analysis and Root Cause Analysis section of the ASP.

Due to space restrictions, registration is required and limited to teams of two (2) attendees per school. This workshop is recommended for principals, assistant principals, instructional coaches, lead educators, teacher leaders, or other school staff who participate in ASP development. Follow-up support at individual schools will be provided by the RST.

Note: This session is only for schools that are designated Comprehensive or Targeted in the southern region. The session will rely heavily on participants' reflection on their own data and practice. Teams should plan to bring their laptops and their own timely and relevant data to reflect upon during our time together. Examples of data you may choose to bring with you include benchmark data, attendance/discipline data, classroom/intervention assessment data, etc. Participants should be prepared to analyze student and subgroup performance at the standards- and/or skills-level.
