Webinar Description

This virtual professional learning session will support educators with implementing flexible small group instruction in kindergarten-third grade mathematics classrooms.
The training covers the following topics:

-Ways to effectively group children according to common needs and offer intentional, differentiated instruction.
-Ways to formatively assess children during small group instruction through questioning, observations and anecdotal notes.
-Ways to engage students in center activities for students not engaged in small group instruction that contain materials that promote individualized student growth and address a wide range of readiness levels.
-Management tools which assist students to work productively in centers.
