Collaborative Federal Desk Monitoring

Welcome to the Collaborative Federal Desk Monitoring Folder.

Please note that this portal is designated for the DESK monitoring. If your LEA is participating in the ON SITE monitoring, please use the CFM portal to upload files.

The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and other federal laws require that State Education Agencies (SEAs), in this case, the New Jersey Department of Education (Department), monitor the implementation of federal programs by subrecipients to determine whether the funds are being used by the LEA for their intended purposes and achieving the overall objectives of the funding initiatives. As one of the LEAs selected for Collaborative Federal Desk Monitoring (CFDM), we require that documents requested for the monitoring be uploaded through this Homeroom Repository.

The Office of Fiscal and Data Services, in collaboration with the Department’s other applicable program offices, will be performing the desk monitoring with your school district for the 2023-2024 school year.

This folder enables users to download documents to facilitate communication with appropriate personnel and to upload documents/records required for examination.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation.
