Preschool in a Mixed Delivery System:

New Jersey has a long history of successfully operating state preschool programs in a mixed delivery system, where school districts contract with local Head Start and childcare providers to increase program access to more 3- and 4-year-olds in the community.

Join the New Jersey Department of Education, Office of Preschool Education in collaboration with NIEER and ACNJ, to learn more about the benefits of mixed delivery and the process for ensuring successful collaborations to build a foundation for educational success.
