Webinar Description Collecting data allows regional coordinators and local liaisons to assess their implementation of the McKinney-Vento Act. Data also provides critical information that can be used to assess the educational development of students experiencing homelessness and design interventions that support learning.

The New Jersey Department of Education is pleased to announce session one of four quarterly roundtables. These sessions are designed to enhance participants' knowledge and understanding of the intents and purposes of the funding, as well as, to ensure best practices are shared among all LEAs within established regions.

Session one will focus on the following topics:

Analyzing Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) homeless/poverty data.

Identifying and enrolling students experiencing homelessness.

Building partnerships with community-based organizations (CBO's) who provide wraparound services.
