This webinar will provide an overview of the 2 chapters that have been made public from the OELA family toolkit (https://ncela.ed.gov/files/family_toolkit/EL-Family-Tool-Kit-All.pdf). The presenters from the United States Department of Education, Office of English Language Acquisition will discuss how the toolkit can be used to make parents aware of the information in the 2 chapters that have been made public. The goal will be to help increase the capacity of families of ELLs.
The presenters will also talk about ?leadership actions? that district leaders can take to empower families
