Date(s) & Time(s) October 11, 2019   ~  1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Webinar Description This webinar will provide technical assistance related to the release of the STEM Dual Enrollment NGO and provide information on the Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) model program.

The STEM Dual Enrollment grant program is a state and funded program intended to implement a P-TECH 9-14 model in two NJ comprehensive high schools.

Under this model, high school is extended to years 9-14 with the desired outcome of students graduating with a high school diploma, a two-year postsecondary degree aligned to industry needs, and internship experience leading to hiring preference commitments from industry partners.

This grant program provides a single 17 month project period to cover both the planning and implementation phases of this program. Each grantee is eligible to apply for up to $200,000.

Eligibility to apply for this STEM Dual Enrollment NGO is open to LEAs with comprehensive high schools that have a minimum grades 9-12 enrollment of 1,000 students; and of which at least 50 percent must be considered economically disadvantaged.

The project period is February 1, 2020-June 30, 2021.
