Date(s) & Time(s) April 2, 2020   ~  9:00 am - 4:00 pm
April 3, 2020   ~  9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Workshop Description This regional two-day training session will provide an in-depth look at how to administer, score, and interpret results of the Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT). The training will include best practice, guidance, discussion and small group work on using the tool in preschool classrooms.

The Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT) is a classroom observation tool used for preschool classrooms to measure the fidelity of Pyramid Model Practices from the Center for Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL). The Pyramid and PBS and the TPOT are required classroom practices used by the Preschool Intervention and Referral Teams (PIRT). Those PIRT who have previously received TPOT reliability training are asked NOT to attend in order to leave spaces for those who have not yet been trained on the instrument.

Please bring a TPOT score sheet and TPOT Manual (Brookes Publishing Co., 2014). Also, please bring snacks, beverages and lunch. There will be directions available for the nearby lunch options. Ample parking is available in all locations.

*This is the Southern session. There will be a North and Central session too.
