The High School Supply Chain Management Program Developed By Rutgers Business School

Workshop Description The New Jersey Department of Education's Office of Career Readiness collaborated with Rutgers University Business School on the development of a rigorous project-based-learning career and technical education (CTE) program of study in Supply Chain Management.

Rutgers University and the Office of Career Readiness will host a presentation on the Supply Chain Management program from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on January 16, 2020 at Rutgers Business School, 100 Rockafeller Road, Piscataway, N.J.

Those attending this Supply Chain Management presentation will:

1. Learn about the national success and recognition of the Rutgers Supply Chain post-secondary program, career opportunities for both high school and postsecondary graduates, and highlights of the high school Supply Chain Management program.

2. Observe high school teams compete in the presentation of Supply Chain Management project-based-learning projects and ask students and teachers about their experience.

3. Discover how the program will be continually supported by annual professional development for teachers.

4. Hear about the industry credential and articulated credit from Rutgers that is a critical component of the program.
