Workshop Description

The New Jersey Department of Education Division of Early Childhood and Family Engagement is extending an opportunity for literacy coaches to be part of year 3 of the Literacy Coaches Collaborative Consortium giving coaches the opportunity to network with coaches around the state and to attend professional development on coaching.

*This consortium is intended for literacy coaches who work Full Time (solely and daily) with teachers on ELA strategies. Coaches must be in a coaching role currently or going into that role in September 2019. THE COACHES' WORK MUST INCLUDE GRADES K-3 and you must be NEW TO THE CONSORTIUM.

Literacy coaches are required to attend all four professional development sessions.

Professional development will support teachers on various coaching methods, foster the development of partnerships, and will allow for greater capacity within districts.

Please note that registration is limited to 3 coaches from each district. Coaches and Administrators must register separately. One administrator from each participating district is highly encouraged to attend the morning sessions with their coach on September 27, 2019 and April 8, 2020 only. Coaches must register using the coach link. Administrators must register using the administrator link. Please print your registration confirmation and bring with you.
