FY2020 ESEA Application Work Session - Essex/Hudson/Union

FY2020 ESEA Application Work Session

Date(s) & Time(s) June 21, 2019   ~  10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Workshop Description This hands-on session will allow district/charter school users to work on the fiscal and programmatic components of their FY 2020 ESEA Consolidated Subgrant applications. Staff members from the Office of Grants Management (OGM), program offices and county offices will be present to provide technical assistance and answer fiscal and programmatic questions. The goal of the session is for district/charter school users to submit their applications or get as close as possible to submitting them.

There will be a short presentation reviewing the application process and highlighting the changes for 2019-2020. Then the majority of time will be spent working on the applications. We ask that all participants come prepared with pertinent information, e.g., FY 2020 allocation amounts (when available), needs assessment data, and other application worksheets.

Also, we recommend bringing quantitative and qualitative data to substantiate your selected "Priority Problems" in the "Needs Assessment" section of the application. These data might be found in other district/charter school plans or reports, e.g., internal strategic plans, state assessment reports, Annual School Plans, PD plans, Bilingual/ESL plans, EVVRS/HIB reports, etc.

While this session is designated for Union, Hudson and Essex County other districts are welcome to attend.
