Workshop Description

Per N.J.S.A 52:17B-4.7, all new administrators are required to attend Gang Awareness Training within their initial year of employment as an administrator with a school district. The Office of the Executive County Superintendent of Schools, in coordination with the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office, is organizing this annual Gang Awareness Training seminar for Burlington County administrators.

The Prosecutor's Office will lead the Gang Awareness Training and cover the following course topics:

Juvenile Justice Statistics
Mainstream Gang Influences
History of Gangs
Gang Definition and Identifiers
Major Street Gangs
