Welcome to the TANF Data Portal.
The 2021 TANF data is now available for districts to use as a poverty measure when ranking their schools to determine eligibility for Title I, Part A funds. A district has the option to use this data as a low-income measure to complete the Title I, Part A section of the district’s FY 2022 (2021-2022) Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Consolidated Subgrant Application in the Electronic Web-Enabled Grant System (EWEG). Specifically, in "Step1a Eligibility Setup" of the Title I, Part A section, non-CEP school districts may use the 2021 TANF data for the "Composite (free, reduced lunch, and/or other criteria)" option.
Please note these data contain personally identifiable student information. These data are not for public distribution or display and should be shared only with staff responsible for the completion and submission of the district’s FY 2022 ESEA Consolidated Subgrant Application.
Districts without an account for this application must contact their district's Homeroom Administrator to establish an account.
