Information and insights related to ESSA, ESSER, IDEA and McKinney-Vento programs
Welcome to the Federal Program Insights Folder
The purpose of this folder is to share pertinent, data-driven insights about a federal program, or a student group targeted by a federal program, specific to your local educational agency (LEA). Currently, this folder contains:
Two resources to support efforts to complete the SFY23 ESSER Performance Report in EWEG. One is an ESSER Performance Report planning document that provides all of the questions contained in the SFY23 report in EWEG, the other is an ESSER Allocation Overview Table, which shows your district’s CARES, CRRSA and ARP ESSER allocation and expenditure information necessary for the report.
A Homeless Counts Workbook intended to support work within school districts related to students experiencing homelessness. The report compiles data from your district on the identification and performance of students experiencing homelessness and provides comparisons to New Jersey and national averages when possible. District personnel can use this workbook to identify strengths and weaknesses in their identification and support of students experiencing homelessness. Districts receiving Title I: Part A funds can also use this report to help determine an appropriate Title I: Part A set aside for FY25.
A workbook containing enrollment information by grade and race/ethnicity for all SWP and TAS schools within your district to assist with completing the 2023 Title I Performance Report (only if your district receives Title I: Part A funds).
