Charter and Renaissance School Data Drive
Welcome to the Charter and Renaissance School Data Drive
The Office of Charter and Renaissance Schools (OCRS) serves four core functions: manage an effective charter school application process, ensure readiness and capacity to open a new charter school, oversee existing charter schools, and renew, expand and close charter schools. The Performance Framework is used to guide all of these functions and is the basis for all decisions regarding charter schools and charter school applications.
The Performance Framework is established in the charter agreement and in current regulations (N.J.A.C. 6A:11). Information in the Charter and Renaissance School Data Drive will be used to assess charter school performance against the measures set forth in the Performance Framework.
Data Accuracy
All schools are to submit critical information punctually and accurately to the OCRS to comply with state/federal law and reporting requirements. If the data reported is not punctual and/or accurate then your school will not be compliant and appropriate measures will be taken.
For questions, please contact the Office of Charter and Renaissance Schools at scharter@doe.nj.gov or by calling (609) 376-9083.
